An update to the November 2011 Edition of SongShow Plus has been posted.  The 01/12/2012 update fixes the following issues: 

• Fixed new problem associated with changing the default song parts list.
• Fixed new problem associated with pop-up text hints for slides bleeding into the adjacent monitor when the slide contains a large amount of text.

iPad App: SongShow Plus Control by dreece in Latest News

R-Technics is pleased to announce the availability of the new SongShow Plus Control iPad app. This app provides functions for letting you remote control your SongShow Plus machines. With this app, you have easy access to the current SongShow Plus program, tools dedicated to searching for and presenting songs, stage monitor, Background Improv, Color Improv, remote control toolbar for navigating, muting, playing, and rewinding media. These features are similar to those provided through the SongShow Plus mobile interface, but with the the enhanced conveniences of a native application such as automatic detection of SongShow Plus machines, tabbed interface for easier access to songs, and a fixed position toolbar for remote control.

With this app, you can free yourself from sitting behind a desktop computer while still controlling the media for a service. Take it on the platform with you if you're shorthanded or if you would like to have some control over operations while leading.

Using this app requires SongShow Plus November 2011 Edition with a Professional Level license on your projection machine and iOS 4.3 or later on your iPad. Also, your projection machine will need to be accessible through your local area network via a wireless hotspot. November 2011 Edition, 12/20/2011 Update by George in Latest News

An update to the November 2011 Edition of SongShow Plus has been posted.  The 12/20/2011 update fixes the following issues: 

• Fixed new problem with display properties and slide show properties being reset in slide show builder after using Undo.
• Fixed new problem with related to inserted display properties in a program.
• Fixed issue with update installer.

November 2011 Edition, 12/14/2011 Update by George in Latest News

An update to the November 2011 Edition of SongShow Plus has been posted.  The 12/14/2011 update fixes the following issues: 

• Fixed problem with presenting images when slide previews are enabled on XP platforms.
• Fixed problem with verse numbers when adding a scripture slide in slide show builder.
• Fixed problem with looping video chains within a program.
• Fixed problem with song text getting clipped at the end when there is blank line at the beginning of the text.
• Fixed issue with PowerPoint slide previews.

November 2011 Edition 11/22/2011 - Beta Test Release by George in Latest News

The 11/22/2011 beta test release of the November 2011 Edition of SongShow Plus is available to current subscribers.

This edition of SongShow Plus includes the following enhancements:

• Slide previews in the media control and program panels.
• Audio level control for video files.
• Enhanced display properties for images and videos.
• AutoPlay for Vimeo and YouTube.
• Enhanced Quick List features.
• See What's New for more.

This edition of SongShow Plus includes the following fixes: 

• Various fixes.

NOTE: There is PowerPoint issue with the new Current Control slide previews feature that may cause SongShow Plus to stop responding.  We are continuing to effort this but in the mean time, if you use PPT files you should set the Show option of the Slide Show Media Control settings to Titles Only using the following steps:

1. Tools > Preferences > Slide Show Media Control.
2. The top option on this page is Show - set this to Titles Only.

Additionally we recommend that the Preview Panel and Program Slide Previews are also disabled when using PowerPoint files as there have been some issues found there as well.

We will address this and incorporate a fix in a future beta release.

• Enhanced Quick List features.

This edition of SongShow Plus includes the following fixes: 

• Fixed problem with leading spaces in slide text boxes.
• Fixed problem with leading blank spaces in song lyrics.
• Fixed some PowerPoint related problems.
• Fixed the DeckLink transition ghosting issue. 
• Various other fixes.

NOTE: There is PowerPoint issue with the new slide previews feature that may cause SongShow Plus to stop responding.  We are continuing to effort this but in the mean time, if you use PPT files you should set the Show option of the Slide Show Media Control settings to Titles Only using the following steps:

1. Tools > Preferences > Slide Show Media Control.
2. The top option on this page is Show - set this to Titles Only.

We will address this and incorporate a fix in a future beta release.
