May 2012 Edition Available for Testing by dreece in Latest NewsThe May 2012 Edition of SongShow Plus is now in testing and is available to current subscribers.
This edition of SongShow Plus includes the following enhancements:
- New transport controls for slide-based media items.
- Fade In/Out for videos.
- Enhanced audio control for slide shows.
- Slide based audio tracks for slide shows.
- Enhanced support for videos within slide shows.
- Control panel monitors for Secondary and Stage Displays.
- Increased song database size.
- DeckLink support for most transitions.
- DeckLink support for PowerPoint presentation.
- DeckLink support for web page presentation.
- Addition of new Bible plug-ins: New International Version 2011 and English Standard Version.**

Video Fade In/Out by dreece in Feature Reviews- SongShow Plus has provided a way to specify a start and stop point for a video clip for some time now. And up until now, such a clip begins instantly at the the start point, then cuts off instantly at the end point. Users have requested that these start and stop points fade in and out. November 2011 Edition, 03/14/2012 Update by George in Latest News
An update to the November 2011 Edition of SongShow Plus has been posted. The 03/14/2012 update fixes the following issues:
- Fixed new problem associated with attempting to delete items while they are being shown in the inspector panel.
- Fixed new problem that caused a selected song to become unselected after being edited.
- Fixed recent problem where shift-up arrow does not work as expected within the Program Panel.
- Fixed recent problem associated with searching for scripture text when the text is adjacent to punctuation.
- Fixed recent problem preventing the left/right mouse click buttons for the display window from stepping forward and backward.
- Fixed new problem associated with making changes to the Blank Slides Display Properties settings.
- Added an additional reporting period for the CCLI Activity Report.

November 2011 Edition, 01/12/2012 Update by George in Latest News
An update to the November 2011 Edition of SongShow Plus has been posted. The 01/12/2012 update fixes the following issues:
- Fixed new problem associated with changing the default song parts list.
- Fixed new problem associated with pop-up text hints for slides bleeding into the adjacent monitor when the slide contains a large amount of text.

iPad App: SongShow Plus Control by dreece in Latest News- R-Technics is pleased to announce the availability of the new SongShow Plus Control iPad app. This app provides functions for letting you remote control your SongShow Plus machines. With this app, you have easy access to the current SongShow Plus program, tools dedicated to searching for and presenting songs, stage monitor, Background Improv, Color Improv, remote control toolbar for navigating, muting, playing, and rewinding media. These features are similar to those provided through the SongShow Plus mobile interface, but with the the enhanced conveniences of a native application such as automatic detection of SongShow Plus machines, tabbed interface for easier access to songs, and a fixed position toolbar for remote control.
With this app, you can free yourself from sitting behind a desktop computer while still controlling the media for a service. Take it on the platform with you if you're shorthanded or if you would like to have some control over operations while leading.
Using this app requires SongShow Plus November 2011 Edition with a Professional Level license on your projection machine and iOS 4.3 or later on your iPad. Also, your projection machine will need to be accessible through your local area network via a wireless hotspot.
