Further explanation of Hue Adjustment
To wrap up the discussions on the new hue-based effects, I'll better explain how the Hue Adjustment effect works and how it compares with Hue Colorize. The first example I gave for Hue Adjustment wasn't the best example because the source image was primarily made up of the same color. The Hue Adjustment actually shifts all colors equally one direction or another whereas the Hue Colorize effect sets all hues to the same color. In the examples below, the first image is the original, the second image is set to a green color using Hue Colorize. The third image has all hue colors shifted to where several areas are green.
As you can see in the third example, while some of the color areas have been shifted to green, other color areas have shifted to purple. The example below even better how hue shifting works by completely inverting all colors (shifting by 50%).
