Feature Preview: Media-specific Slide Properties
Before proceeding, take note that the functions presently known as "Display Properties" will be renamed to "Slide Properties" in the next version of SongShow Plus. I will refer to them as Slide Properties from here on out.
Slide Properties are settings used to determine the look and behavior of a slide. There is a set of default Slide Properties that are used when any media file is presented from the Database Panel. These properties are also used when items are presented from the Program Panel unless they have been overridden in the program itself.
In the next version of SongShow Plus, you will be able to specify media-specific default Slide Properties. This means that you can, for instance, specify a specific background that will only be used for songs. For all other items, the default, or General Use, background is used. You can set backgrounds to be used specifically for scriptures, images, videos, audio files, and external players. Your options aren't limited to just backgrounds, but also margins and shadow settings.
You will will also be able to insert media-specific Slide Properties into programs so that you can more easily set backgrounds for different media types within a single program.
This enhancement gives you more control over the development of your programs and presentations in SongShow Plus.
