ok so heres my problem when i'm setting up or runing the service for sunday the littlist thing like at fancy slide transition will freeze my system up.  I checked the min requirements for songshow plus v. 7.  This system should run some simple stuff, but it wont.   Heres some stats of the computer maybe something will click for one of you.  AMD Athlon 64 3200+   2.00 GHz, 1.00GB of Ram.  NVIDIA GeForce FX 5900 Ultra Video Card.

I started running the setup before sunday just a couple of weeks ago so i dont know that much about showsong.  When the computer Freezes I have to restart the computer with only the monitor pluged in I have to unplug the Projector.

If you have any ideas im ready to try anything to see if it works

Thanks

Cory

P.S. Maybe the video card is going out but im not a tech so i dont know the signs

My first guess would be to check the video card driver.

What OS? If VISTA, do you have SP1 installed?

Were running on XP, and I thought the video card too but yesterday after I posted this I updated the driver for the video and now the computer turns on and runs fine unless I open song show or even the desktop manager for Geforce so I'm stuck and don't know. Its like the computer is thinking to much.

You could run DXDIAG, as documented here, and see if that shows anything.

On the third tab are some directx tests you could run.

O.k sry i went on vacation. but I'm back. I just updated the drivers for the gforce and have directx 10 installed on the computer. but it did nothing but make the problem worse. no i cant even run any major programs like diagnostics or ssp for that matter and it only goes online when i have it set to one monitor not two. I cant run that dxdiag because that freezes the system.

I would give SSP tech support a call and have them take a look.
