This is something I have always wished for when adding an image to a slide. I think I prefer Edge Blend over Edge Blur. Edge Blur still has a hard edge to the image, that may be desired in some instances, so I am glad you gave us choices.

This is great. I agree with Gary that I will probably use Edge Blend over Blur, but this is very cool.

Currently to do that, I have to bring pics into photoshop, delete a gradient frame around the edges of the picture and save it as a PNG to preserve the partial transparency around the edges. This will eliminate the need for all those steps for pictures in SSP.

RE: May 2009 Edition Released by osborn4 in Latest News

If your projector has a freeze function and the content of the main screen isn't going to change, then you could freeze the main projector and show whatever you want on the secondary display.

But you'd have to remember to change what you are displaying back before you unfroze the main projector.

If they make the second screen editable that would be hugh!

I was looking at Media Shout for that reason. Every support person I talked to said the same thing "the second display shows the same as the first except no background", but on the forums I found a person that found a way to edit the second display. I would rather use Song Show. Our media team really likes its ease of use.

As I understand it, the feature will only show the same words on both monitors, just different formatting.

I'm excited about the secondary display output. Has anyone figured out how to edited the secondary display? We currently use two computers. One computer displaying lyrics only for the congregation, and the other computer displaying lyrics and notes to the praise team. If Song Show will allow editing of the secondary display, we can get by with one less computer and operator.

RE: Change DataPath to use external drive? by osborn4 in User Support - V7

Yes. In SSP, go to Tools -> Utilities and select Data Files Setup From there, follow the bouncing ball.

You will need to be sure and have that drive attached whenever you fire up SSP. But I don't know why it wouldn't work.

I saw it. But I had to click in and enter my church's software ID to get in to the plug ins page.

Change DataPath to use external drive? by jmsuttle in User Support - V7

I just added an external drive to our media computer, and would like to change the data/file path for our SSP items to this external drive.  Is it possible to change the default file location?  If so, please direct me to the function in SSP.  The current location default is as follows:

DataPath: C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Documents\R-Technics\SongShow Plus

Thank you in advance,
Jessica

I plan to purchase the H.264 plug-in.

Do I need one for each system, or is it a stie license for the projection and and workstation systems?

Thanks, Mark

Am I correct in my thinking that the New Public Bibles are already included in the install; and the $25 fee is per machine/per translation only for the bibles listed above?
Yes, you are correct. At least the public domain versions got loaded with the preview version. So I would assume they are still there.

RE: Title Slides for Songs by osborn4 in Feature Reviews

Yes. I do basically the same thing (only I call the song part Opening) and it works fine.

But it will be nice to not have to do this anymore.

RE: Title Slides for Songs by Real Life Community in Feature Reviews

This is a great new feature. This will certainly be easier than the work around I've been using for some time now. I make a song part titled 'title' and hit enter in the spot where the lyrics are typed. Now when this part is displayed, it has no lyrics but has the title on the screen. You can then put this as the first thing in the verse sequence and have the same effect as this new feature. In case anyone was getting anxious to use this it is possible to do it now.

RE: List of Short List songs by osborn4 in Tips & Tricks

I should paste into 2003 (I've done it). I don't think I was able to paste into Word 2000. I've never tried 2002.

Thanks!!!

I actually thought about that yesterday afternoon, but forgot to try it last night. I did this on my home PC, and it pasted it into MS Word 2007. I hope it pastes into Word 2003.

RE: List of Short List songs by George in Tips & Tricks

Yes...

Go to the songs panel and in the filter section click the check box for "short list".

Click on the All Songs selection to display all of the short list songs in the database.

Right click any of the songs and select "Print Song List" at the bottom.

This will open a dialog that will allow you to see the list and set print parameters.

You could also use the Copy to Clipboard (HTML) button in the lower left if you have a HTML editing tool (This will not paste to a text editor)

Hope this helps..

RE: Chill Cafe by osborn4 in The 'Wave Pool'

Me too. I like the album, butit's not what we are looking for.

Looking for Third Day/Delirious/Mercy Me/Lincoln Brewster type stuff, but just instrumental.

I am glad you asked, as it reminded me of an Albumn I used to own.

One Of Several Possible Musiks

I have that CD ... but I don't think I'd use it for pre/post service music.
