This usually occurs if you have recently run a PowerPoint® slide show, but did not shut down PowerPoint® . If you choose to terminate a PowerPoint® slide show before it is finished, press Esc to exit PowerPoint®. Do not use Alt-Tab to return to SongShow Plus™. This leaves PowerPoint® running in the background and unable to automatically run the next slide show.

NOTE: This problem will occur when using the default SongShow Plus configuration for PowerPoint.  For better control of PowerPoint presentations, use the PowerPoint Support ProModule.
