A recent update made by Microsoft (June's Update Tuesday) to Internet Explorer has been found to be the cause of the "Catastrophic Failure" message that users have reported when downloading songs from CCLI. The update to Internet Explorer that caused this problem is the Cumulative Security Update for Internet Explorer for Windows XP (KB916281).

While this error sounds quite bad, it really just means that SongShow Plus was unable to process the download request.  The song will not be imported but no harm has been done to your system.

We expect to address this system change in the upcoming upgrade to the Lyrics Service Import Module. In the mean time, you can still use the Clipboard Import utility to import your songs from CCLI.

It is possible to uninstall this Internet Explorer patch, but doing so is very risky and is not be recommended by R-Technics at this time.
