Symptom:
The areas that display the scripture data under the scripture panel go blank. This may or may not be accompanied by and error message - possibly a range check error.
Possible Cause:
Unknown Root Cause - Some users have experienced this after initial installing SSP the first time they try to select a bible book. This is rare, but when it occurs a restart of SSP is required to recover the Scripture Panel.
Possible Solution:
If this occurs enter a known Book/Chapter/Verse (Genesis 1 1) in the Book/Chapter/Verse text field. SSP will automatically find the selection. This process seems to overcome the initialization problem with the scripture panel. This should only need to be done once. If this occurs please report it to the tech support team.
Possible Cause:
Unknown Root Cause - Some users have experienced a problem with the search in the scripture panel. When switching between the book tab and the search tab with text in the book tab, an error occurs - usually a range check error. The error message will clear but the panel will not work. SSP has to be restarted to recover from this condition.
Possible Solution:
As a workaround, avoid leaving text in the search fields when switching between the book and search tabs. If this occurs please report it to the tech support team.
